WHAT IS CAPTURE^®?

Capture^® is an aluminum clip that will forever change the way you shoot. It let’s you carry your DSLR directly on any backpack strap or belt, eliminating the need for a neck strap, sling, holster or bulky camera bag. Capture^® holds your camera rigidly, allowing you to be physically active without your camera swinging and swaying.

ANY STRAP OR BELT WILL DO

Backpack shoulder straps, waist belts, messenger bag straps, climbing harnesses, baby carriers, camera belts – you name it, Capture clamps to it. Capture works with straps up to 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide and 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) thick.

UBER-FAST AND UBER-STRONG

With a press of the quick release button, your camera is out of the Capture clip and ready to shoot. One click later your camera is back in the chassis and completely secure. So secure that the lock can withstand over 150 lbs. of force.

WORKS WITH ANY CAMERA

Capture works with any camera that has a standard tripod mounting hole (1/4 inch diameter, 20 threads-per-inch). Designed for SLRs, Capture can also carry Micro 4/3s and point-and-shoots.

CHANGE LENSES WITH EASE

The quick-release plate slides into the clip in 4 directions, letting you choose how you position your camera. This makes changing lenses safe and easy.

COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT

At a size of 4 in (10.4 cm) x 2 in (5.2 cm) and a weight of 5.2 oz (148 grams), Capture is smaller and lighter than an iPhone.

WEATHERPROOF AND DURABLE

Capture is made of die-cast aluminum, the quick-release button is made of high-strength thermoplastic, and the clamping bolts are cold-forged zinc alloy. Unlike most products these days, Capture is guaranteed for life.

WORKS WITH YOUR TRIPOD

Capture’s quick-release plate is compatible with most ARCA®-type tripod heads, so your camera can go straight from your belt to the tripod, no disassembly necessary. Manfrotto® compatibility is coming soon!

WORKS WITH YOUR HAND STRAP

Like your hand strap? So does Capture. The quick-release plate is equipped with four flat metal loops, allowing you to attach a hand strap for extra comfort and grip.
